Cancellation terms – Vivienda JACK

1. Introduction

At Vivienda JACK we understand that circumstances can change. That's why we have drawn up clear cancellation conditions, so that everyone knows in advance what the possibilities are.

2. Cancellation by the guest

2.1 Cancellation periods

For each reservation, the following cancellation conditions apply:

Up to 60 days before the scheduled arrival date: full refund of the already paid rental amount.

Within 60 days before the scheduled arrival date: no refund of the paid rental amount, unless Team Vivienda JACK confirms otherwise in writing.

Any costs incurred by third parties, such as payment providers or booking platforms, may apply if they are not reimbursed to Vivienda JACK.

2.2 Cancellation Process

A cancellation must always be communicated in writing via:

The cancellation is only final after you have received written confirmation from Team Vivienda JACK.

The date on which we receive your cancellation is considered the official cancellation date.

2.3 No-show

When a guest does not appear on the agreed arrival date without prior written notice, this is considered a no-show.

In that case, the entire reservation is cancelled, and there is no right to a refund of the paid rental amount.

2.4 Exceptional circumstances

We understand that situations can arise that are beyond your control.

In exceptional circumstances, such as:

serious illness;

death of a close relative;

natural disasters

war;

pandemics

government measures

long-term disruption of essential services;

you can submit a written request to have your reservation reviewed again.

If possible, we receive relevant evidence, such as a medical statement or an official government statement.

Team Housing JACK assesses each request individually and reasonably. No rights can be derived from this assessment.

3. Cancellation by Vivienda JACK

Although this occurs exceptionally, it may be necessary for Vivienda JACK to cancel a reservation.

This can happen, for example, when:

the accommodation unexpectedly not safe or habitable is;

there is talk of serious damage;

legal measures make rental impossible;

sprake is of overwhelming power.

Before a reservation is cancelled, we will always strive to find a suitable solution first.

When this proves impossible, we offer:

a full refund of all amounts you have paid, or

an alternative accommodation of similar quality, if available and accepted by you.

Housing JACK is not responsible for additional costs such as airline tickets, rental cars, insurance, or other travel-related expenses.

4. Changing a reservation

Do you want to change the arrival or departure date?

We kindly request you to inform us of this in writing as soon as possible.

Changes are only possible:

if availability allows it;

on written confirmation from Team Vivienda JACK;

where any price differences may apply.

Repeated change requests may be denied if they make good planning or rental impossible.

5. Refunds

When you are entitled to a refund, we will process it as soon as possible.

Refunds will in principle be made within 7 working days after the cancellation has been confirmed in writing.

The refund will be made via the same payment method that was used for the original payment.

When this is technically not possible, for example due to an expired payment card, the refund will be made by bank transfer.

6. Travel and cancellation insurance

We strongly advise each guest to take out a good travel and cancellation insurance policy.

Suitable insurance can cover unexpected costs if you have to cancel or cut your trip short due to unforeseen circumstances.

Taking out insurance remains the responsibility of the main booker.

7. Applicable law

These cancellation terms are subject exclusively to Spanish law.

To the extent permitted by law, any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the region of Murcia.
